Pastor Sheri teaches part 1 in her series, “It’s All About Who?” God longs for us to come to Him just for Himself, instead of for what He can give us. He wants us to first minister to Him, before anything else. Besides when we worship the Lord just for WHO He is, He gives & reveals more of himself to us. So what is TRUE Biblical Praise & Worship, & how do we get back to it?
Pastor Sheri inspires us to do a spiritual spring cleaning, to de-clutter our lives from all the distractions & burdensome responsibilities to REST in God! We must first find our rest & refreshing in God’s presence, & then our purpose & fresh vision for our lives always follows. Let’s stop running in circles, being busy for God & simply spend time WITH God. Digging deep into the original meaning of Matthew 11:28-30 & Luke 10:38-42, we learn what some lost in translation of Jesus’s words.
When looking for God’s break through day after day but maybe it never seems closer & the burden grows heavier. Circumstances may seem to be pressing in on all sides. That’s when the waiting gets so tiresome! Sometimes we think “the waiting” wouldn’t be so bad, if we could just know a date & time when it would end?! We begin to allow our experiences start to reshape our view of God and His purpose in the midst of it all. In this message Pastor Sheri addresses how we have this “waiting on God” thing all wrong and teaches what scriptural “waiting” is really all about!
Are you standing at the bottom of the “Mountain of Meeting” with God. Deep down you know there’s MORE! You want to go up to a higher place with the Lord, but you just can’t seem to figure out how to get there? Tired of trying out every formula or “Spiritual Superscription” to a lack of passion & fire for God?! Stop making it complicated because it’s so simple:). Let’s push past our “fear of heights” & press on into an intimate relationship with the Lord. Philippians 3 paints a picture of our determined purpose: simply to know Him, walk with Him & be found in Him. Follow the journey of the people of Israel & Moses up the mountain in Exodus 19-20.
Pastor Sheri teaches from Ezekiel 37 on how to break free from spiritual dryness. Have you often found yourself waiting, hoping & looking forward to that “next thing” to bring you into a better season in life? Are you running the clock on a dry time…feeling distant, disconnected & disillusioned. Pastor Sheri teaches on how we can avoid drying out in life. It’s time to get our groove back and truly live, laugh & celebrate in God!
In Part 2 of her series, Pastor Sheri teaches how to live a purposeful, “Poured Out” life, without burning out. Using stories & practical examples, we’re inspired in just how easy it is to invite people into our imperfect world in daily discipleship! In this message, we look at the “Uncomfortable Strategic Connections” in the life of David & Naomi.
Pastor Sheri teaches what modern day discipleship truly means & how to live a life poured out until God & His people, while passing the torch to the next generation! She challenges us to recount the cost together, see the blessing & realign our lives with the Great Commission. In this particular message, we study the profound transition of Elijah & Elisha.
Pastor Sheri teaches part 2 in her series, “Getting to Know the Holy Spirit’s Heart: Untying Tongues.” Building on a foundation of having the heart of the Holy Spirit for Unity & “the Lost,” we can clarify the purpose of tongues & learn to flow powerfully in this free gift of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. For some reason our minds get all tied up in knots over the topic of the manifestation of the infilling of the Holy Spirit & evidence of tongues, mostly due to people abusing this gift by using it in the wrong manner or with the wrong motive. In this teaching, she identifies the four different types of tongues, their purpose & how to freely flow with the Holy Spirit in them. (Please make a point to listen to Part I of her sermon 1st though.)
Pastor Sheri teaches Part I in her series, “Getting to Know the Holy Spirit’s Heart,” and clarifies who He is as a person, what He does and what He’s interested in. Once we realign our lives, heart and ministry to HIS INTERESTS, we will see our relationship with Him begin to flourish and this lost, hurting generation come to KNOW HIM through a ministry that He blesses with his presence and power!
Pastor Sheri preaches what goes into the making of a “Water-Walker.” If you want to walk on water, you must get out of the boat! Just like Peter, we have to recognize God’s presence & purpose in the midst of the storm to see the extraordinary opportunity for spiritual adventure. Learn how to overcome the fear of failure & exercise your faith. This is the year to leap so far out of our safe “boats” of familiarity & comfort to a life on the cutting edge of all that God has for you! This is a message about jumping out of spiritual stagnation into extreme discipleship & embracing the adventures of Gods Kingdom on earth.
