Jesus already became our sin & shame substitute by taking it completely away from us & nailing it to the cross permanently 2,000 years ago. So if we still struggle with carrying shame, the real issue is with unbelief in the finished work of the cross. No matter what happens, we must keep our identity in Christ, as a blood bought son & daughter of God!
